President's Message

On behalf of the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC), and its Alberta member-companies, I congratulate Premier designate Rachel Notley and newly elected MLAs on their election victory.

We look forward to the opportunity of working with the new government to continue to enhance the role and contribution of the chemistry industry to Alberta’s economic development and prosperity.

As a $50-billion industry, we are a cornerstone of Canada’s economy and significant contributor to Alberta’s economic prosperity: it creates jobs, adds significant value to our natural resources, and supports the province’s economic diversity.
